Success is takes patience and a commitment over the long haul. Many people haven’t put in the long term effort to reach their goals, but just expect them to happen. That may be because success seems to be over night, seeing a skyrocketing individual. But setting up that phase is a long period of little growth, where a person learns from his or her mistakes. In looking at the graph below, let the orange line represent a threshold for success. Let the blue line represent a person’s progression. Just seeing the last steep part assumes it came quickly, but there was a much longer phase prior to that. That is the formula of exponential growth, returns start to take off after a while. But have patience with the early stages. Then the sky is the limit.
