Artificial intelligence and machine learning has been massively valuable for a long time, and the importance only continues to accelerate. However, implementing these systems requires deep knowledge of data pipelines, model trade-offs, and machine learning operations. To learn about this, my September goal will be to read Machine Learning Design Patterns by , ,
This book has been recommended by experts in the field and well-known coaches such as Nick Singh of Ace the Data Science Interview. As someone in the machine learning space, this will give me exposure to new concepts, both to implement in the future and stimulate my own ideas. I will be traveling for two weeks in September, so I will keep this in mind as I tackle this M2M.
Here’s my mission statement:
Within the next month, I will read a significant number of pages of the book. Signs of my progress will include making time to read (both during and after my travels) as well as understanding design patterns in a way I did not before.
Here’s my action statement:
The activities I will conduct are read the book and do a write-up about my findings at the end of the month.
Project Plan:
- Week 1
- Write monthly introduction post
- Read 10 pages
- Week 2
- Read 10 pages
- Week 3
- Read 25 pages
- Week 4
- Read 25 pages
- Write M2M recap post
I’ll check in at the end of the month. Happy September.
